I love John Malkovich's character in Rounders. Watching it again with the parents made me crave oreos... and develop my crappy Texas Hold 'Em skills.
Today was a good day. After staying up 'til 4am with my mom in the kitchen making a salad (which was really good, btw), I spent practically half the day in my bed... sleeping! I woke up around 1pm? I need to have better sleeping habits, but as you can see by the timestamp on this blog, I'm not really starting yet, teehee.
I felt healthy (for the most part) today. I made 2 salads with chicken and it was FABULOUS. Gotta love fiber. But I had a twix bar and 4 mini powdered donuts... hahaha. I can't help but eat what's in my house! But then again, I'm entering that stage of my life where what I eat will definitely affect my weight... fuck.
One of my favorite movies was on Showtime today: Death Becomes Her. OMG, it's such a good comedy, and there's so many one-liners, I love it! Meryl & Goldie look AMAZING, and Bruce Willis is hilarious when he says, "IT'S A MIRACLE!" and then lightning strikes, hahaha!
I must say that talking/hanging out with my parents is always a blast, when we're all in a good mood. It started off with watching a Spurs vs. Pistons game -- probably my first basketball game of the season (the last time I was really into watching the NBA was maybe... in 2004/2005 - when the Kings had their downfall, haha!). We saw this commercial about.... car insurance? I think so... maybe not, but they had lines in there like, "Don't like your nose? Get a new one." The last line was completely hilarious because of certain family related matters. Needless to say, my parents & I had a lot of laughs... and some brain damage, HA!
That was around... 6pm or so. I forget what I was doing from 7-10, but at 10, I watched Rounders with my 'rents. I really like that movie. Edward Norton is a skinny little bastard, but I love him. And Matt Damon is just... wonderful, haha. Seriously though, John Malkovich with a Russian accent saying, "Fuck," "bitch," and "cookie"... what could be better?
The movie ended around midnight, so my mom & I channel surf and we watch Project Runway and a little bit of that Make Me A Supermodel show. I really liked that episode of PR, where they had to make PROM DRESSES! AHHHH! I'd hella wear what Victoria made, f'sho. Shit, I want another Prom, HA! Or just a day where we get all dressed up and go dancing. And by the time that was all over... it was almost 2.
And here I am... trying to blog about it, haha.
I just love these kinds of days - hanging out with the fambam (errr, minus Mark since he's always in his room!) and just... having a good time. My mom seriously needs to give me her Judith Leiber bag... RIGHT NOW! Or at least let me take out the LV bag to Saks, HA! I'm such a "rich" bitch... errr... spoiled is more like it. I am fucking spoiled.... I am. About 10 years from now, I owe my parents a new backyard and frontyard, plus my fiance has to buy an engagement ring from them, HAHAHA. Family plans are hilarious.
I'm (have been) craving Dibs since November. Idk why I just don't go out to Lucky's and buy some... hahaha. Plus some Frankie B's or Antik Denim (Antik because of... some cute boys from NLT, haha! I KNEW IT WAS ANTIK! I always see it in Saks, but never really tried a pair of them on. But I hella liked it how Travis was wearing some R&R's. It was lovely).
Speaking of NLT, I found it funny how Kristina was going crazy when I told her about their "message" thing. HELL NO! I'm not leaving them a real message... play that PCD shit! HAHAHAHA! But it was funny. I don't wanna be one of those... crazy fangirls who say "I love you" and "you're hot!" every 2 seconds. But I've been kinda going gaga over the Klaxons lately. Come back to SF, please!
Mm, I showed my mom pictures of Nicholas & Mitch from Skins (from the Kai Z Feng photoshoot) and asked her how old she thought they were. She thought Nicholas was 24! HAHA! Hard to believe that he JUST turned 18 last December. She was shocked that he was the boy from About A Boy. Mmmhmm, how that duck-killing-little-boy grew up. And she thought Mitch was like 21 or something. Mmm, I love me some Maxxie.
Hmm, I better get going to bed. Most likely going to the mall tomorrow to get my shoes, yee!
